Smart Charter Marbella is part of the renowned Smart Group, which was founded on the Balearic Island of Ibiza in 2014 by boating enthusiasts Charlie Veale and Alessandra Grisoni.
Passionate about creating unforgettable private boat charter experiences with top level service for their clients, our parent company, Smart Charter Ibiza, was born and has quickly grown into the largest private yacht charter business in the Balearic Islands.
With a fleet of over 50 privately owned speed boats and yachts, Smart Charter Ibiza specialises in day and overnight charters in and around the neighbouring islands of Ibiza and Formentera – as well as further afield.
In 2018, Smart Charter Ibiza partnered with U.S. boat charter platform Boatsetter, extending our reach around the globe into a whole new market.
Winners of the accolade Best Boat & Yacht Hire company in the Business Excellence Awards 2022, the Smart Charter Ibiza concept laid the foundation for our two new offices in Mallorca and Marbella.

Smart Yachting was originally established as a sister company to Smart Charter Ibiza to assist with their growing fleet, and naturally evolved into a full yacht brokerage offering assistance with boat acquisition, sales and management for private owners.
As well as year-round maintenance, upgrades and refits through the company’s qualified in-house mechanics, the service also gives owners the opportunity to offset costs by chartering out their boat through Smart Charter.
Today, the company employs a team of over 150 staff and operates out of four locations in Ibiza, Mallorca and Marbella.
Focussing on premium real estate, Smart Estates is the Smart Group’s villa sales and rentals division.
The team consists of Sales Director Tim Hope and Sales Managers Alessandro Ubaldi and Diego Duysan.
Smart Estates is currently operating in Ibiza and Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.
